Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there to serve a special purpose; maybe to teach us or assist in figuring out whom we are or who we want to become.

One never knows who these people may be but when your eyes meet theirs; you know that they will affect you in some way.  Sometimes things may happen to you that may seem horrible, painful and unfair, but upon reflection you realize that by overcoming those obstacles, you have realized your true strength, will-power and potential.

Everything happens for a reason.  Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck.  Illness, love, moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of our souls.  Without these challenges life would perhaps be seen as a flat, a smoothly paved road to nowhere.  It would be comfortable and safe but dull and totally pointless.

The people we meet may affect our lives in many ways and the downfall and successes that we experience transforms us.  In fact, our most important lessons are sometimes the most painful experiences.  If someone hurts or betrays us, we should forgive them.  They will have helped us learn about trust and the importance of being cautious.  If we experience love, we should try to reciprocate it unconditionally, not only because we are being loved but because we are being taught to love and to open our heart and eyes tot the little things.

Make every day count. Try to appreciate every moment and take from it everything you possibly can for we may never be to walk that road again. So hold you head up high, you have every right!!! Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself because if you don’t, then nobody else will.
